Sheet pile slings
Roodenberg Staalkabels developed the sheet pile sling because there was a need for a safe way to lift sheet piles.
In actual practice sheet piles are being lifted in many different ways. Many are not safe, leading to dangerous situations and sometimes serious accidents.
The Roodenberg sling is designed according to a simple concept. A hole should be made in the pile, through which the sling will be leaded. This way it cannot drop off during the lifting. A specially designed reinforced tubular timble ensures the cable will not be damaged by sharp edges of the sheet piles.
In addition, a special reinforcement prevents the timble from crushing or flattening and an open tube in the timble allows the user to inspect the cable for possible damage at any time.
The slings are now available in sizes from 14 mm to 22 mm.
